1970, this is new and the boys sound so full of energy and excitement. The whole show has just been reseeded on IA, worth a listen.

Hurts Me Too

Rotterdam Civic Hall

Best from Eu '72? Ties with the Strand. Whole show is top ten. Even the thought of trying to grade Europe '72 shows seems utter folly. Great---NO, Brilliant, superb, bluest of blue slide, wonderful Pig Pen singing and harp playing. Keith and Phil and Bobby rocking along.

Superb high energy and Jerry finger pickin' perfect. A machine gun of blue notes bending and swooping. Driving drumming and Pigpen at his best.

Go listen to the Europe 72 show directly, no overdubs just 5.57 of brilliance and lovely harmonising vocals. Joy.
