Candyman
Nov. 6, 1970
Capitol Theater
This really nice early Candy Man. This one is after Truckin. The first two are sound checks, I think.

Uncle John's Band
Nov. 6, 1970
Capitol Theater
This is one of the better acoustic versions of this song. The sound quality isn't the best but the performance is spot on.

Loser
Nov. 15, 1971
The Austin Municipal Auditorium
This is a tragically overlooked version. Bobby's guitar is loud and proud. Jerry's Strat playing was as clean and twangy as it got on this song.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Nov. 7, 1969
Fillmore Auditorium
The forth live performance of these 2 songs put together. It starts out a little rough, then it evolves into a well paced and played China Rider.

Can't Come Down
Nov. 3, 1965
Golden State Studios
^^Yes, the Dylan influence is very evident here. I think it's just as much influenced by the Yard Birds. This was a really good demo session. It's interesting to hear this early stuff, they where finding there way during the very early psychedelic era.
Wharf Rat
Dec. 31, 1976
Cow Palace
Bobby and Donna provide some beautiful vocal harmonies on this one. Jerry's solos are especially soaring on this version, partially due to the Travis Bean guitar that he was using at the time.
Eyes Of The World
Dec. 31, 1976
Cow Palace
Phil is really driving this Eyes is along. This is fast, and energetic. Jerrys playing is especially crisp on this one. The T.B is perfectly suited for his high register solo work. And as every one else has stated, they transition into Wharf Rat flawlessly.
Not Fade Away
July 12, 1987
Giants Stadium
Attention all NFA fans. This one is precise and energetic. I could see this in any head's top 5. This song is form the 87 Giants stadium show that was recently release as part of a box set. The soundboard transfer is good, probably not as good as the box set, though.
Brokedown Palace
Nov. 7, 1971
Harding Theatre
This is a strong, tight rendering of this beutiful song. Kieth was providing some nice piano flourishes, and he was less then a month in!
