Candyman
Nov. 6, 1970
Capitol Theater
This really nice early Candy Man. This one is after Truckin. The first two are sound checks, I think.

Uncle John's Band
Nov. 6, 1970
Capitol Theater
This is one of the better acoustic versions of this song. The sound quality isn't the best but the performance is spot on.

Loser
Nov. 15, 1971
The Austin Municipal Auditorium
This is a tragically overlooked version. Bobby's guitar is loud and proud. Jerry's Strat playing was as clean and twangy as it got on this song.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Nov. 7, 1969
Fillmore Auditorium
The forth live performance of these 2 songs put together. It starts out a little rough, then it evolves into a well paced and played China Rider.

Don't Ease Me In
June 24, 1970
Capitol Theatre
This one, along with the other songs in this, very rare acoustic set, deserves some love; Including the NRPS contribution. The contrast between this stuff and the rocking, energetic songs in the second set, made for a landmark concert. Really good stuff!
Easy Wind
June 24, 1970
Capitol Theatre
Agreed^. Great transition from NFA. Pig was playing some of his best harp on this one. Then, Jerry jumps in with that rich Gibson tone. Every one sounds great on this, as they do for the whole show. This is a real gem, and well recorded in a really sweet room.
Not Fade Away
June 24, 1970
Capitol Theatre
This is an extraordinary version of this song. The drummers are completely locked in, and everyone else responds. Bobby is doing some very nice guitar exchanges with Jerry, who's tone and nimble solo work is just stellar. Props to Ken and Judy Lee for such a well mixed and clear sounding recording.
Terrapin Station
April 27, 1977
Capitol Theatre
It's nice to actually see the band in action. Jerry was very enthused. Every one sounded great. This video should be watched, and this version voted up!
Tennessee Jed
Oct. 24, 1971
Easttown Theatre
Speedy Jed. Alligator was up to the task, though. Keith was getting the honky-tonk piano sound down in a very short time with the band.
