Great version of this song, percision and energy.

This is a murky recording but a solid version of DW. Jerry was laying down some nice "twangy" country licks on this one.

Not Fade Away

Fillmore East

Incredibly energetic version, Bobby is at his best on this one. This was from a Fillmore East show, how could it not have been submited.

The boys are completely in sync on this one. They seem to anticipate each others moves, then transition into a completely different movement. This is very well recorded and mixed. Everyone is audible but not overpowering. By voting for this one, I have created a tie with my favorite DS from 69, 02/22/69 Dream Bowl. But this is every bit as good, it's just gone through 4 years of musical evolution, apples and oranges.

This is about as good as this song got. Bobby's rhythm work is strong and audible. Keith is supplying the perfect piano arrangement for this song. And, Jerry is laying down some of his best Stratocaster, finger pickin, that I have heard!

Strat magic, country style!

They really had the vocal arrangement down on this rendition. Jerry and Keith are both playing at a very high caliber on this song as well as the whole show.

Good call on the Fender, Ernie. Jerry received Wolf around that time, but it sounds like he's playing Alligator for the entire show, especially on the numerous country songs on the bill. Good version, Phil is really driving this one.
