Beat it on Down The Line
March 12, 1966
Danish Center

This could have been the debute of this song. A very young Bobby is kind of yelling it. It's interesting to hear how these early covers evolved.

Baton Rouge International Speedway

This is another good late 1969 D.S. T.C was adding some nice touches on the organ. This isn't an extraordinary version but it's worth a listen.
St. Stephen

Veterans Auditorium

Coming out of a very energetic Dark Star, this version may be a little raggedy, but it delivers the groove. I think this should be up on the list.

This is the drummers show case. Billy and Micky go to town on this one. Lots of energy by all. Jerry is playing with clarity and vigor throughout the song. This one should be higher on the list, for sure.

Yes, this is a good one. Jerry was playing with authority and with a great tone. Every one locked in on this one,

Family Dog at the Great Highway

I could tell by the first few notes that Jerry played that there would be some outstanding guitar work to come, and there was. His tone and use of feed back was especially good on this one. T.C complements Jerry very well on this version. It's a good one!
