Felt Forum - Madison Square Garden

Pig comes alive during this song as well as this entire show, and Jerry respond's to his energy level, as does the whole band. I love this show!

I agree with all of the above, this is a very inspired version of D.S!

Keith is just a month in, Mickey is out. This is like a preview of the 1972 D.S sound. This should be up on the list!
Dark Star
Feb. 13, 1970
Fillmore East

Just a month after their bust in New Orleans and the loss of T.C on keys, they where playing with focus and clarity. Varied and dynamic. This version works for me a little better then the 08-27-72 show, both really good renditions.
Dark Star
Sept. 16, 1972
Boston Music Hall

This version is worthy of a much higher place on the list. Billy sounds especially good and his drums are recorded well. Everyone is in good form on this one. I will listen to this one again, for sure.
Dark Star
Dec. 7, 1968
Bellarmine College

This show should be in the top 10, in my opinion. It's the most inventive and interesting version of 1968, the year it was born. Bobby and Phil lock into Jerry as he explores a variety of riffs and motif's that exemplify the psychedelic era. Please vote for this one, It deserves to be listened to!
