Pig comes alive during this song as well as this entire show, and Jerry respond's to his energy level, as does the whole band. I love this show!

St. Stephen

Honolulu Civic Auditorium

^ Agreed!
Bird Song
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

This one is on you tube. I like seeing the band in action, it was pretty rare in those days. The camera mostly focuses on Jerry playing his strat, which is masterful. The other guys aren't fetured very much, and you don't see Keith at all. They do show way to much of the naked hippy on the light pole, though.
Morning Dew
April 27, 1969
Labor Temple

T.C adds a lot to this tight energetic offering. I love the trippy Dews!
Ship of Fools
May 9, 1977
War Memorial

Coming out of a stellar Comes a Time, they maintain the energy and precision as well as very high caliber Vocals. Donna sounds as good as she ever has on these two songs.
The Other One
Jan. 2, 1970
Fillmore East (Late Show)

^ "Light-on-it's-feet" describes this version perfectly, Ernie. Crisp and confident and melodic. I love Jerry's Gibson tone during this era. This whole show, early and late, is really outstanding. This show will be the upcoming Dave's Picks 30. Lucky for us we can hear a perfectly good transfer on the archive source provided.
