Deal

Egypt show - best 70s version. Closing 2 minutes of "Don't you let that Deal go down" coda is a raucous affair.

From "Ladies and Gentlemen" Fantastic version, better than a dozen others I know from formally released shows and Dick's. Can't believe it's not here.

Best version: Tight, up-tempo, great mix, Bob's guitar, Bob's vocal, Jerry's solo, Keith's piano, harmony vocals, Bill's drum fill at 3:27

72 is where this song is best.
Greatest Story Ever Told

Wembley Empire Pool

Reasons this version is #1 * It's one of the up-tempo versions * Bobby's chops are loud and clear * You get two fantastic (instead of one) deliveries of the "cool clear water well you can't ever tell" verse from Donna. Headphones. Completely underated singer due to bad mixing.

Top 3 for sure, but definitely not all these votes better than the rest, and definitely not #1. 4/7/72 and 5/7/72 are better.
He's Gone

Rheinhalle

No nose?!? How does he smell? Just awful! This is the best version of He's Gone, if you're only comparing the main arrangement without extended jamming and outros. I'm not a big fan of the "going where the winds don't blow" bridge, or the "ooooh, nothing's gonna bring him back" outro, and while some of the jamming in other versions is awesome, I think there is value in knowing which version of the core song is best.

Wow #1. I agree. Solo right?
