I Need A Miracle

The Worcester crowd is really into it. Another hot version. Aren't they almost always hot?

Big Boss Man
April 9, 1988
Centrum

Jerry singing Big Boss Man to open the show - and nobody has mentioned this yet?

Sugar Magnolia
April 25, 1983
The Spectrum

This era is overlooked and underappreciated. This - like most around this time - cooks.

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
June 14, 1980
Spokane Coliseum

Love the restraint Jerry plays with during the second instrumental break. Very measured and disciplined.

Good Lovin'

Olympia Halle

Bob's rap starts off with an indirect mention of Pigpen.

Childhood's End
Oct. 3, 1994
Boston Garden

There's a spot - as usual for this song - where Jerry's guitar work is off. Overall, this is better than some other versions I've listened to. Again, Vince does his best and sounds good.
Childhood's End
July 5, 1995
Riverport Amphitheater

This is brutal. Jerry's guitar work pre-vocals and on the first instrumental break are way off and sound really sour. The harmonies often clash. Vince is playing better than anybody else.
Childhood's End
July 9, 1995
Soldier Field

If you really like Phil's singing, I guess you'll like this. I think it's awful - a set killer.
A Voice From On High
Aug. 5, 1970
Golden Hall - San Diego Community Concourse

Possibly the best out of the 4. If not, surely second best.
A Voice From On High
July 30, 1970
The Matrix

An improvement from the show on 7-11.
