A great choice and hot version, coming after Sugaree and before Bird Song. Bob really gets into it.

In their hurry up offense, they bust out some crisp, tight jamming and vocals. Excellent energy and execution.

Bob sings - ever since she went and her sex change, all her friends can say is ain't it a shame.

There are times where band members aren't on the same page and the lines aren't sung in alphabetical order as they're supposed to be. Still, it's pretty good, but not the best.

The music is OK, but the lyrics are childish and idiotic. A stupid song from the late 50's that was covered far more than it deserved.

I love the tempo on this version. Nice lyrics and at times, screaming and wailing guitar work. Following Doin' That Rag, an excellent closer for the first set.

I'm not a fan of the stuck in molasses tempo. Don't the Dead play enough slow songs without needing to turn this into another one? 3-1-1969 smokes this version.
