It sounds like Jerry wants to kill the song 3 times, but Bob pushes for more.

They pack so much goodness in less than 3 minutes.

Bob nails the vocals. Excelleny back playing from Jerry and Bruce on accordion.

Might As Well
Oct. 29, 1977
Evans Field House, Northern Illinois University

I don't get the raves about Jerry's instrumental solo. He pulls up gimpy and kills what could have been an awesome instrumental break. Instead, what we're left with here is a bunch of hype with the goods still waiting to be delivered.
Why Don't We Do It In The Road
April 13, 1985
Irvine Meadows

This isn't a song - it's a bad joke. Trying to figure out which is best is like trying to decide which is funnier - the joke with a punch line about a Puerto Rican guy or the one with the punch line about the black guy.
Attics of My Life
May 25, 1992
Shoreline Amphitheatre

They hadn't played this live on the west coast in more than 20 years. All the bust-out versions were back east. I had almost given up on ever hearing this live, but then here comes this. My 1 year old daughter had been asleep the entire second set, but woke up when they started playing this.
Attics of My Life
June 6, 1970
Fillmore West

An incredibly complex song to play live. Probably the most hauntingly beautiful song they ever played.
Attics of My Life
Sept. 24, 1994
Berkeley Community Theatre

Something going in that I certainly didn't expect. For the small crowd there - and for me for sure - this made up for not getting Ripple.
