Feel Like A Stranger
Sept. 14, 1990
Madison Square Garden

The jamming gets really interesting. Vince flexes his muscles and shows his potential. Fans of Phil will really dig this, too.
All New Minglewood Blues
Sept. 14, 1990
Madison Square Garden

Bobby might be singing about stealing women from other men, but Bruce is stealing thunder from other members. He is absolutely on fire for this, bumping Jerry down to #2. During the second instrumental break everybody takes a turn at playing lead and in between are periods where the soundboard is clear enough that you can hear a full-on SEVEN MAN JAM going on. This is one for the ages - a must hear!!
It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry
Sept. 22, 1991
Boston Garden

This is a really strong version, with Bruce playing lead piano and creating the musical buildups. Jerry's voice gets stronger as the song goes on and he nails the line "I wanna be your lover, baby - I don't wanna be your boss". Another outstanding performance from 1991.
Day Job

The Spectrum

This is the worst version of Day Job I've heard. Jerry sounds horrible. I really have no idea why he's the one singing the encore. Anything by Brent would have been better than this.
Day Job
April 3, 1985
Providence Civic Center

You don't like the rockin', bouncy, upbeat Day Job as your encore? Wanna whine about it being played? Fine, we'll take Day Job out of action and replace it with Black Muddy River. Now, instead of having a smile on your face, you can walk to your car staring at your feet, feeling miserable.
