Perfect execution, akin to the Europe '72 version in terms of precision, Kreutzzman is all over the kit. Fiery Garcia licks reaching incredible peaks

Oh my, the band interplay is absolutely top notch and so mature. Ultimate boogie-gusto, Jerry givin' his all and singin' with soul. Great shit.

This blew my mind at the movies, the vocal jam at the end was insane on the big screen

Morning Dew
Aug. 24, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

Wonderful version. I hope these run of shows get released. Many heads, myself included, would argue that this is the Dead's best week of 1972. This Morning Dew has got an incredible outpouring of soul from the band, reaches some incredible peaks. Keith doing some awesome stuff on the Grand Piano as usual. I would say this is tied with the Europe '72 version for best of the year.
Bird Song
Aug. 25, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

This version is more exploratory than Veneta in its melodic passages, but doesn't soar like Veneta does, they are great in relation to each other though. This Bird Song should be much, much higher though. This is peak grateful dead.
