Perfect execution, akin to the Europe '72 version in terms of precision, Kreutzzman is all over the kit. Fiery Garcia licks reaching incredible peaks

Oh my, the band interplay is absolutely top notch and so mature. Ultimate boogie-gusto, Jerry givin' his all and singin' with soul. Great shit.

This blew my mind at the movies, the vocal jam at the end was insane on the big screen

Playin' In The Band

Dane County Coliseum

If you're into the Dead's 1973 modal-jazz based jamming, look no furthur. This is incredibly intricate, and hair-raising at some points.. crossing many soundscapes. Garcia is on. One of my favorites as of now. This is an incredible rendition, certainly worth a listen for anyone that's a fan of the era.

Garcia's soaring leads and Keith's ambient lines/phrasing are incredibly satisfying, certainly soars to that "place". Listened to Dick Latvala's source.
Dark Star
Oct. 18, 1974
Winterland Arena

A definite upvote. Easily top 5 for me personally. As jazzy and epic as they come, flowing, excellent and tasteful use of dynamics. Masterful Dark Star, at what "could have been" the last Dark Star ever. The audio source along with the video on youtube is much better than the sources posted. Multitrack wall of sound recording, as good as it gets.
Dancin' in the Streets
Nov. 8, 1970
Capitol Theater

Starting to much prefer the oozing psychedelic early versions of this tune. This AUD captures the psychedelic beast in all it's glory. An epic start to the jam with a climax of chords/chaos.. Epic tighten up jam. Garcia's playing is incredibly liquid and dripping with psychedelia. This whole show is a must have. Ken and Judy Lee's AUD is an A+ for the era.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Sept. 26, 1976
Capital Centre

No show this night and this is smack dab in the middle of a China->Rider hiatus, wouldn't be busted out again until 12/29/1977
