Uncle John's Band
March 1, 1970
Fillmore East
Early formulation. Very raw, almost demo-like.

Finale of a hard rocking post-space second set. Played with passion. Definitely Heady

Stella Blue

Uptown Theater
Lovely, sweet vocals. Clear as a bell and with just the perfect amount of pathos. He holds his vocal notes just an extra beat longer and some nice Brent contributions in the back half. The drums come in hot after a nice NFA. A really nice version
Not Fade Away
Dec. 4, 1979
Uptown Theater
This one should get more upvotes after DaP47. A compact, menacing NFA. Glad I found it.
He's Gone
Oct. 28, 1977
Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hall
Wonderful He's gone. Both laid back and jammy. This second set alternately has some beautiful soft moments and some cooking rock and roll.

Stumbled upon this one today - really lovely version sandwiched in between some heavy duty jamming
My Baby
Nov. 8, 1970
Capitol Theater
This is a once played song from a concert whose reels have just been returned to the vault. We should get a release soon. Preceded by Mystery Train. Shame these two didn't stick - good concert tunes
