I don't usually think about a "heady" version here but Damn!! this some trippy stuff leading into a great NFA

I think the band was a little cooked from the night before but it seems like they're still having some fun.

A sublime treat. A kinder, gentler Terrapin. Great sounding vocals leading into a monster LIG

How have I never heard this show? IMO, one of the best of '78. Killer drums>space leading into a funky, funky NFA. Musta been some top shelf kool-aid that night

This is a Monster! LIG is kinda my song of the month and I've been listening to A Lot of them........this version is truly Heady. May be my new favorite.

I've been digging the fall of '79 for about a month now - there's some really incredible shows on that tour. With that spring's addition of Brent, it seems like we're hearing a rejuvenated band hitting their stride. It may have been autumn but the band's blossoming with beautiful new growth.

Just discovered this show!! I'm in love. Another scorcher from the fall of '79. This is the Dead doing what they do best.
All Along the Watchtower

Another post Brent show that's making me rethink the 90's. I like this version a lot.....Very unique. I'm really digging the Hornsby jams and I think Jerry was too. This deserves a boost up. Good call!
