Just because it's the first one since '69....there's something about a Hartford show.....

Shoo enuff........@3:34 sounds like Bobby just about busted out. Good stuff, very heartfelt....Yeah....I can take a little rain.

Universal Amphitheatre

Right on. Incredibly spacey. The second set of this show is ripe with nuggets.
Estimated Prophet
May 28, 1977
Hartford Civic Center

I've got a love/hate thing for Estimated. When it's on, it's a great time. When it's off it can stink like road kill. This version is all-the-way-on. Spacey, trippy, marshmellowy notes ooze from Jerry's axe as Estimated starts a run that follows with: Playin>Terrapin>NFA>Wharf>Playin> Un freakin' real show

Great pick. This one's a major contender. I never liked the Civic Center all that much but the boys sure did. It's hard to find fault with almost any Hartford show
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Sept. 14, 1984
Hartford Civic Center

This is the wrong date for the show and leads to a dead link (no pun intended) The Dead played Hartford on 1984-10-14 but no Scarlet Fire that show. The great Hartford Scarlet/Fire was from 1983-10-14 and a freaking Epic one it was.
