You can tell this was a great rendition but this AUD is just way too muddy. An aggressive EQ might do this one some good

No SBD but this AUD is actually quite fantastic. This is a superb version, totally worth your time

Words to describe this one: gentle, tranquil, just beautiful. Criminally underrated. Talkin 25 to life criminally underrated.

There's some intentional stutters in the solo that the whole band picks up on and its magical. On fire, not sure how this wasn't already here

Very abrupt out of mama tried-- Jerry takes a longer solo and totally kills it. 100% worth a listen

Bird Song
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

Owwwww! In the pocket, feel a definite Miles Davis/Herbie Hancock vibe on that cissy strut. Stellar guitar and trumpet playing + a very nice bird song with... woodwinds! Very cool, different feel. Tranquil

Awesome. Would it be wrong for me to say her vox can hang with Pig's? Love the sax in there too.

Heavily disagree w/ that sylvan-- your saying that makes me think you generally just dislike '77 Keith, which is understandable. Sure his playing through the transition into fire might not be super flashy, but it gets the job done and it's by no means grating or unlistenable. I'd say his performance through the verses of Scarlet is A1 however. That recurring little circular melody he plays at 3:06 & 6:36 is just beautiful. He also accents Jerry's scarlet solo perfectly, so I would disagree that he sucks in this version, at least not in scarlet.
