Jerry's voice is strong + motivated.BEAUTIFUL keywork from Vince. Bob and Phil consistently strong, both with highlights. This could rival the #1 Lucy

Loser
April 14, 1972
Tivolis Koncertsal

Amazing early Loser. I really enjoy Pig's keywork here and the energy is great. I'd say the late 80's Loser's have more going on in the solo's and is the more complete Loser. This version is incredible, but comparably to a late 80's or mid 80's, you can tell this song really matured into it's prime in those years. Still, this early Loser is FIRE and still to be enjoyed much !
Me and My Uncle
Aug. 6, 1971
Hollywood Palladium

Buttery transition!! The Other One --> MAMU. Very strong MAMU from Bob and the the whole band is really engaged and "on" here. Bob with life and energy behind his crisp accurate lines. Great MAMU. Competes with '78 for sure, both great.
Jack Straw

Rolling thunder Jack Straw. Jerry was blistering lightening off the charts fast their, while organized. The recording is really good. Vocals were great start to finish and solo's we're dynamite, this is a masterpiece Jack Straw. Compared to 1-11-79, I think its much closer than votes say.. the '79 jack straw has some of that funk/jumpy flow mixed in with the firery shreds that I find so unique and incredible (little bias to '78/79). But this '84 Jack Straw isn't just a ripper it also some heart and magic to it.. Comparably I do think this '84 Jack straw is slightly better.. but its subjective. they both shine in different ways, I think this one is more complete start to finish.. The band was really strong in the start and didn't waste a single milli half second... then you throw in that inspiring last solo. Yes.

Phenomenal Drums into Raven Space. Reminds me of early acid test in some ways. Awesome!
Franklin's Tower

The ending solo is other wordly. Overall strong Franklin start to middle to other wordly amazing end. Jerry and the band is really on here, like most of '76. Maybe my favorite Franklin's Tower. A great listen start to finish, with a amazing payoff that spoils!
