Bird Song

San Francisco Civic Auditorium

Extra heady free jazz jamz in the middle, of course the start is completely botched with Jerry apparently forgetting the opening riff

San Francisco Civic Auditorium

Solid performance with aching and reaching singing, instruments on point.

Shakedown Street

vocally pretty bad, but Jerry tears up the guitar. Vocal coda is handled well

100000 Tons of Steel

Berkeley Community Theater

Really not performed well, but I like the vocals

Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Dec. 13, 1992
Oakland Coliseum

Solid later year version. Jerry is dialed in and vocals and guitar are on point

Hell yeah, middle jam is damn fiery, and brent kills it on some solos for his first show!
When I Paint My Masterpiece
April 1, 1995
Pyramid Arena

for sure, i've been digging a lot into 95 lately and this is a great example of jerrys reduced guitar skills leading to a way spacier and relaxed gooey solo break
Bird Song
June 2, 1995
Shoreline Amphitheatre

jesus this is grimey. 95 gets to some bizarre places when Jerry can't quite manage what he used to, but still wants to explore the sonic spectrum
He's Gone

Franklin County Airport

Vocal jamming is ominous and sick on this one
Dark Star

The Spectrum

Hmmm, I don't hear any of the jitters here. So relaxed, fluid explorations of everything. Even the meltdown is awesome and logical to my ears
