Latest Dave’s Version is solid. Slower than some versions but very bluesy and Pig is at his best

Interesting song and show. Not a good recording and not the best show but worth a listen. Honky Tonk Women? From NFA on, it sounds like the Dead.

Love in the Afternoon

These are both JGB. They played the song a lot. I don’t think that this should be here. Is there a JGB version of the site?
Visions of Johanna

Love the song. Why did they only pull it out in 2 of the worst years. Seems like that when Jerry was near the end, this song spoke to him. I wish they played it more, This version of this song gives me chills and makes me cry. I can’t help it. I love the song, but I can’t listen often, I need to go back to the care free and mind blowing 70s. They just make me smile, smile, smile.
Pretty Peggy O

Winterland Arena

Not the best Peggy-O but very listenable. Worth the price of admission. It’s a 1977 show, can’t go wrong. Scarlet Bs from this show rocks! A little too much Donna wailing at the end but otherwise hot! Row Jimmy is currently the top ranked. Listening to it makes me wonder why everyone doesn’t love the Dead. This show was 42 years ago. I was not yet 7. I guess I am lucky so many do. The show is a keeper.
Why Don't We Do It In The Road

Sorry, just listened to all the Beatles covers. This is horrible. Maybe the best version but horrible. Brent’s Hey Jude (3/22/90) is good if you want a better Beatles song. There are also a couple OK versions of LSD. GD doing Dylan is better.

Why not more love? It sounds more like an AB jam than NFA in parts, but awesome.
