Broken Arrow

A STELLAR show (Casey Jones AND Comes a Time), Phil mimed pulling a bow string and breaking the arrow to call the tune. Perfect version.

NO WAY is there a more smokin' version of Big RxR. Jerry absolutely WINDS IT the entire version. He's RELENTLESS!!!! Hunter Seamons matrix too!!

Blow Away

JFK Stadium

I feel like Jerry is really off the whole early slide section of this version. Like nails on a chalkboard, really rough. It certainly gets better, the complete stop and rebuild is AWESOME, and Brent's real love/fist rave up is HUGE. We're a forgiving audience though, and maybe the rave-up makes-up for the sloppy start...
Eyes Of The World

Alexandra Palace

What the other guys said. A long, floaty intro where Jerry lets Ned Lagin take the lead, beautiful interplay, the band really punches the chords leading into the choruses, it's perfection, and segues into a nice spacey jam and and a stunner of a Wharf Rat.
Broken Arrow

Autzen Stadium - University of Oregon

Phil's sons were on-stage on Phil's side for this song. Phil was hamming it up before Broken Arrow Started, doing a duck walk, bobbing his head etc... You can hear how much fun he's having in his voice. Truly a standout version.
So Many Roads

Giants Stadium

First, I LOVE So Many Roads. It's a BEAUTIFUL song. Unfortunately almost every version has flubs of some sort or another. Even those at the top of this list. I was lucky enough to see many of them first hand. Philly 3-19-95 was a train-wreck until Jerry tried to lift it up with some VERY heartfelt wailings at the end, Soldier Field 95 is poignant (Lord, I been walkin' them roads, gives me goosebumps & breaks my heart every time), yet it's painful to watch/listen as Jerry pours out his soul during his swan song performance. 10-1-94 Boston Garden is a fine rendition, notable for the alternate lyrics, but again is featuring a very pained Jerry looking for relief... THIS version, however, is PURE MAGIC. It's almost note-perfect start to finish, Jerry's voice and lyric delivery are on-point, his solo is absolutely CELESTIAL, and it's the first half of a Jerry-Jerry double punch, So Many Roads-Terrapin. It's STUNNING. He doesn't go off vocally quite as long as he did in some of the 95 versions, or ease it down quite so quietly, but that's only because he didn't need to, he belts it out with passion and conviction and then eases us perfectly into a BEAUTIFUL Terrapin. I honestly don't think there's a better version of this song out there. Here's a CRISPY soundboard version for you: http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1992/6/15-1/so-many-roads
