Bo Diddley
March 25, 1971
Academy of Music

The first one played and with Bo Diddley must be on the list, very cool set list, Dick’s Picks Vol. 30

Casey Jones
Nov. 2, 1979
Nassau Coliseum

Rocking Casey Jones, first one with Brent. The band sounds completely revitalized with a new keyboard player.

Not Fade Away
Nov. 2, 1979
Nassau Coliseum

This Not Fade Away is outstanding, slow funky intro and high energy vocals lead to a short second jam, but it will bring a smile to your face.

C. C. Rider
Sept. 10, 1991
Madison Square Garden

I love the Branford solo, very sweet and where Jerry’s solo is supposed to be they transition to “Its Takes a Lot to Laugh…” Give it a listen.

C. C. Rider
Dec. 1, 1979
Stanley Theater

Out of an amazing Gloria jam, the first C. C. Rider is a must listen, Bobby just spits out the lyrics. The jam that follows is hot as well.

Franklin's Tower
Oct. 27, 1979
Cape Cod Coliseum

This is GREAT version and it needs more votes, the entire pre-Drums segment of this show is outstanding, if you haven’t heard CAPE COD!! in awhile, give it a listen.
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Sept. 1, 1979
Holleder Memorial Stadium

We know ’77 is the bellwether year for amazing Half-Steps, branch out your listening and give this ’79 version a try, a great nomination from LagerandGospel. I regret waiting over 30-years to hear it again, a good SBD is out there and it is a really, really good version, from a show that I didn’t think much of when I attended it, but the tapes don’t lie, give it a listen and vote. The Franklin’s that follows also smokes.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Sept. 5, 1979
Madison Square Garden

Spacey transition jam, and then a very fiery closing Fire jam, worth a listen.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 23, 1983
New Haven Coliseum

This is an under rated Scarlet>Fire from an under rated tour, everyone is ga ga over the Spring 90' Hamilton Scarlet>Fire, this one is on par with the Dick's Pick Vol. 6 version from Hartford, give it a listen.
Jack Straw
April 22, 1978
Nashville Municipal Auditorium

Great Version!!from a great Aud tape, give it a listen
