Great acoustic version. Stellar vocals, especially in the "oooh" section

This is the song, the show, the version that turned me onto the Dead. So much raw energy!! and of course Bobby flubs the Texas line... in Texas haha

Dillon Stadium

Listen to Dave's Picks 2 recording on good audio equipment. This has become one of my absolute favorite Jack Straws. PURE WALL OF SOUND PHIL BOMBS. The whole band sounds connected at the brain the whole show. Really energetic, flowing, and beautiful.

Compared to the versions I have heard, this one takes the cake in every category. So ethereal.. the emotion is palpable.I'm hooked on these Europe 72 recordings! the end of the Pigpen era was a truly beautiful one for the Dead, worth every penny

Love when they nail the "ooh" section! Great version
Chinatown Shuffle
April 14, 1972
Tivolis Koncertsal

They played Chinatown Shuffle at 20 out of 22 shows from the Europe '72 tour and I feel any version could be chosen as "the best" ... each one I have listened to is as tight as the next. They were on point.
