Johnny B. Goode
Dec. 10, 1979
Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hall

Everyone sounds great on this outrageous version. Check out Brent's vocals and playing, as well as Bobby's playing. Burning.

Space
Nov. 8, 1979
Capitol Center

Brent contributes a lot to this brief, beautiful, disturbing Space.

Around and Around
Aug. 31, 1979
Glenns Falls Civic Center

It's hard to say exactly why this version of this tune that no one thinks about too much is heady, but it really, really is

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Feb. 3, 1979
Market Square Arena

moberg is right about the solo. What Jerry does in the last chorus is mind blowing. He just decides fuck it. Great transition and Fire too.
Dark Star
Jan. 20, 1979
Shea's Theater

This is not a good Dark Star. They try something dissonant, it doesn't work, verse is a train wreck, and they're relieved to be playing NFA. No wonder it was the last one for almost 3 years.
Pretty Peggy O
Jan. 17, 1979
New Haven Coliseum

It's late in the day but Jerry and Keith have some great interplay here.
Casey Jones
Jan. 15, 1979
Springfield Civic Center

Great vocals and solo
Black Peter
Jan. 5, 1979
The Spectrum

Exceptional guitar solo
