Brilliant interplay between guitars. Convincing vox by Bobby.

You can hear Brent listen. Also love when Jerry switches to fingerpicking in the solo.

Park West Ski Resort

Jerry takes charge in the jam and doesn't put a foot wrong. Waits for the others before the peak. Deceptively profound version.

Burning peak
Sugar Magnolia

The Spectrum

Sometimes in the darkness of a mid-Spring tour in 1983 the most predictable song played at the most predictable time is burning hot.
Ramble On Rose
April 13, 1983
Patrick Gymnasium, U of Vermont

Beautiful, economical, expressive solo by Jerry
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
June 18, 1983
Saratoga Performing Arts Center

Staggering. Listen to the Jim Wise aud. Jerry's Scarlet solo is outrageous, Brent's playing is brilliant throughout, especially the marimba patch. Jam is super sparkly, dominated by Mickey's cowbell and Bobby's dog and cat noises. Listen to what Jerry starts to play at about 11:45. Fire is slow and dark. Agreed that Bobby's repeated vocal flub is great and should have been made part of the song.
