Feel Like A Stranger
Feb. 5, 1989
Henry J Kaiser Convention Center

Busting out of the gate in the first show of the year. Great interaction between Bobby and Phil, tasteful commentary by Jerry.

When I Paint My Masterpiece
Oct. 14, 1988
Miami Arena

Great version because Bobby is understated, even weary. This gives Jerry the space to jump into the choruses with emotion. Dodging lions.

Dire Wolf
April 5, 1988
Civic Center

Remarkable solo, down to the last note.

Estimated Prophet
Feb. 17, 1988
Henry J. Kaiser Auditorium

Notable because of what Bobby and Jerry play at the end of the jam. Fast forward to it if you need to.

Big River
Dec. 27, 1987
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena

Great version. Jerry plays angry, always a good sign. Check out his first solo. Also, Brent's mumbly jumbly solo is not too bad here.

Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

So sorry to hear it NJ!
Wang Dang Doodle
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

It's super weird that Jerry is playing the riff in the wrong key here. It gives to tune an otherworldly feel that's kind of cool, but weird.

Bobby killing it
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
May 26, 1973
Kezar Stadium

This tune is so perfect for Keith. He sounds great, as does Bobby. Love that he's so high in the mix in this SB.
Playin' In The Band
Dec. 27, 1982
Oakland Auditorium

Love Jerry playing Woody Woodpecker at about 5 minutes in. They get down to business in the jam. Love Bobby's playing throughout.
