Jerry really connects the dots in the solo. The first few phrases in particular are sublime.

Brooding, hypnotizing version. Beautiful playing by Jerry and Brent, and brilliant vocal with unexpected touches.

Best Brent solo I've ever heard on this tune. Jerry follows up in style.

Great solo with brilliant Brent accents, and then burning coda. Check out what Jerry plays at 6:06. Listen to the Bob Morris aud.

How is this not on here? Dark and deep, dominated by Phil and Bobby.

From the word "combine" you can tell this is one of those priceless, emotional late-era Jerry vocals. Listen and vote.

Possibly Phil's best vocal performance of all time.

For some reason Phil loses his fucking mind and decides to completely go for it on this version. Wild. Check out the SBD matrix.

Burning. Emphatic. Mickey, Phil and Jerry lead the charge.

Should be #1. Can you imagine going to this show and hearing this followed by Johnny B. Goode? The octave pedal on Jerry's guitar sounds insane and frightening. They accomplish in the Stronger Than Dirt jam what they never could regain in the next four years of playing Dancin' in the Streets.
