Can't just have The Other One listed for 69. Cryptical Envelopment matters, people!

Feb. 15, 1969
Electric Factory

How this one has not been submitted already is beyond me. Peak era, amazing show all around.

Turn On Your Love Light
May 30, 1969
Springer's Inn

This one goes to "cow bell". Great end to a thoroughly wonderful show.

St. Stephen
May 30, 1969
Springer's Inn

Can't get enough of SS in 69; perfectly cromulent and into a dynamite 11 (as usual)

St. Stephen
April 26, 1969
The Electric Theatre

Wonderful St. Stephen totally representative of the era; Bobby doesn't even toss out a quip.

Fillmore West

Unreeeeel Eleven from one of the greatest nights of all time. Edit: to add that I listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it.

Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

King Bee
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

And then into (one of) the greatest Love Lights of all time. All time!
Turn On Your Love Light
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

1969 may be my favorite year, and I believe certainly the best for "Love Light". This is the most definitive, most mind-bending, the 'shiny-est' of them all. (All due respect to 8/6/71) Edit: I keep coming back to this; when Pigpen starts to belt out "SHE'S GOT..." the band EXPLODES. Transcendent
The Other One
Feb. 4, 1969
The Music Box

Feb 4, 1969 has it ALL. Morning Dew. DS-SS-11. O1. Alligator. Plus Phil urging more dancing and Jerry ragging on the audience. Lulz
