Supercharged Billy at the helm deconstructing and building layers of structure like a master architect. Some of his most inventive fills put to record

Notable for coming straight out of Cumberland and the alternate lyrics “And I Grabbed the Bottle, Grabbed Him in the Jaw” A cowboy classic.

Firing on all cylinders right out the gate. I'm certain Jerry's fretboard caught fire after that first solo. Impossible not to groove to.

Delicate. Like a last waltz of the cowboy and his love, with each lick from Jerry conveying the urgency of the story. Keith makes such an impact here.

Part of the beginning is cut off, but that doesn't stop this train from rolling on down the mines. Short and sweet.

HUGE. Colossal isn't even anywhere close to describing how gargantuan this intergalactic space beast is. Incredible.

What is about this show? It's just perfect to me and I am a very hard critic. Just perfect damnit.

Diving into Summer of 73 and finding that it might be their most dynamic and free flowing improvisational era yet. The exploration prior to 73 has led up to this truly special era of music. This is the absolute goods. Lysergic Acid Diethylamide in pure musical form. Check out this electrifying proto FOTM jam in the middle that transcends time and space. Just listen it really doesn't get better than this. Multidimensional and macrocosmic.

This is the pinnacle of Playin's. Severely and utterly under the radar. Mind altering space jams that reach the absolute apex of psychedelic jazz improvisation. Very intense magic going on here. Incredible. To quote quinn_76, woefully underrated.

Love the Love for this one. Almost any tune from this show could’ve ended up on the album. Top Shelf Dead.
