The three shows were some of the first lottery shows and tickets were scarce and expensive. On this night, we were looking for anything to get inside, but could not afford the going rate. So far, so good! We kept on walking and quickly realized that due to the small theatre and the need for more stage area, rows A and B were consumed by the stage and row C was actually the first row. Our seats were dead center, inches from Jerry and the Boys. We were in shock. I looked around and asked those around us where they got their tickets and several stated that they got them at face value outside! We were all clearly miracled!! The show starts and during Brown Eyed Woman, a young lady sitting behind me decides that at that moment she needs to hand a bouquet of roses to Jerry. Needless to say, I am just as buzzed as she is! I look at her and then look at Jerry. He’s looking over his glasses at her, shaking his head, and then he looks at me and gives me the look to help her. I tell her to throw them on stage. She insists she has to hand them to him. I convince her that Jerry wants her to throw them on stage. Jerry nods his head and we get her to toss the roses on stage. Jerry throws her a couple of licks and disaster is narrowly averted! The rest of the show is a blur, but a very colorful blur indeed!! /QUOTE
