Bobby making sure this show doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Great ad-libs, and the full howling range we love.

Whole show is a hidden classic- but whatever you do DO NOT skip this Sugar Mags. Truly seamless after the set break, Dead at their finest.

Me and My Uncle

The Spectrum

Jerry manages to fit even more extra notes in, despite this being a way uptempo cut. Maybe the most seamless trans into Big River.

The Wheel
Dec. 14, 1980
Long Beach Arena

Wowza...I'm not a huge fan of this tune, and usually groan when I see it ahead on a show...but I think it really clicked for me with how smooth they roll in and out of it here. From Prophet-onwards, a full disc worth of Slayer.

Bird Song
May 15, 1993
Sam Boyd Silver Bowl

An all-timer, no doubt. Hope we get a big ole box set of this May '93 run because the SBD's are clean as a whistle, and there's more gold than rust in most shows
Here Comes Sunshine

Ooof, this one's heavy. In the fading sun in dank May Vegas heat? Yessir.

It's 2024 and you better believe I'll be outside the Sphere hustling for tix, and sleeping in some bushes at the Wynn golf course for 3 months.
