Swingin' and energetic version with a really cool Nobody's Fault But Mine jam

The Wheel

Warfield Theater

Great version that comes out of Space. Sounds like they are jamming on an ABB song throughout. Surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet.

Tribute to PIgpen, powerful and soulful. 2nd song of the show.

Lost Sailor -> Saint of Circumstance
April 17, 1982
Hartford Civic Center

This version is all about the sweet Spanish jam segue into drums. Dope!
St. Stephen
Dec. 11, 1969
Thelma Theater

Very unique version with a hard driving and intense jam after the William Tell lyrics. Surprised not to see this one higher up in the list.
Dark Star
Dec. 11, 1969
Thelma Theater

This is a very well played Dark Star. Has everything a Star from '69 should have; swirling psychedelia and gorgeous improv, nicely compacted into a tight 20 minute version.
Dark Star
Jan. 2, 1970
Fillmore East (Late Show)

Loving this Dark Star from Dave's Picks 30. All sorts of subtleties to catch in this one. Around the 22 minute mark you can hear a Sugar Magnolia jam that's pretty cool. The first one wouldn't have been played till June of the same year.
Black Peter
Jan. 2, 1970
Fillmore East (Late Show)

These early Black Peters' always seem a little too slow and plodding to me. This version is no different. I would imagine this sucked the life out of the room for those that were there.
