Portland Memorial Coliseum
Love Jerry's tone in this version. Sooo smooth.
Greatest Story Ever Told
June 24, 1973
Memorial Coliseum
Great scorching version! Nice mid 2nd set energy build combo with Bertha and played after a superb Stella Blue. Nice little discovery due to the Pacific Northwest boxset.
Bird Song
April 3, 1982
The Scope
The jam on this version is really excellent. I'd call this a hidden gem. This whole show smokes.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 3, 1982
The Scope
The jam between Scarlet and FOTM is very unique, makes this version a must hear.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
June 12, 1980
Memorial Coliseum
Great Scarlet, but the rails seem to come off the tracks during FOTM. Jerry and the band seem lost in this one. Plenty of missed lyrics and vocal flubs abound. Jerry pulls it together towards the end during the final guitar solo. . .somewhat.
