Good Lovin'

Excellent conclusion to a Wharf Rat > I Need a Miracle > Bertha > Good Lovin'. From Road Trips Vol. 1, No. 1. Finishes with an energetic flourish.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Listening to the official Dave's 36 release, and I can't get over the difference more crowd noise makes to the experience. It makes me wonder what we have been missing with the usual soundboard releases. We all want good quality sound, of course, but I'd love to hear more how the crowd reacts to songs, lyrics, blown lyrics (lol), etc.

Someone mentioned the "Ladies and Gentlemen..." release, but that version of Wharf Rat is from 4/28/71.

I also prefer 5/22, but 5/28 and 5/19 are both amazing as well. It's splitting hairs at this point. I love the feel of a '77 Sugaree, the beat drops and you know you're in for a long, beautiful, mellow ride. Oh and the official release is 19 minutes. Maybe it's been edited or the 22 minute version has crowd noise or something?

Keith is playing some parts in the intro I had not noticed before? Or maybe I just haven't listened to a '72 Bertha in awhile. Either way, a couple lyrical flubs by Jerry don't ruin an excellent, high energy version.
