What a haunting version! You really get the haunting vibe of a failed suicide. The victim talking to their maker. Followed by a beautiful and happy outro when the victim survives and realizes they’re going to be ok. “Just a little nervous from the fall”

Another testament to why spring 78 was one of, if not my favorite time for the Dead. Soo much emotion, soul and buttery smooth guitar licks and vocals that’ll make your hair raise. This time period also has my favorite Peggy-O (4/16/78) favorite Stella Blue (5/11/78) FOTD (5/11/78) and one of my favorite Morning Dews and Half Steps from this same evening (4/15/78) Do yourself a favor…
