Jerry knocks the solo right into the French countryside. Billy has some nice fills and the quality is pristine! One of 71s best shows

Super tight post verse jam here. Surprisingly unlisted, considering it was just released as part of the Giants Stadium Box set

Cannot believe this one is not listed! Man this one rips, such a better solo and all around playing than so many versions already listed!

Stella Blue
Oct. 21, 1978
Winterland Arena

There's nothing I could say that either hasn't already been said or that would really do justice to the magic that is this song. I will suggest listening to it with the two preceding songs. The triptych of Got My Mojo Working > The Other One > Stella Blue is beyond description, simply a master showing of their range, unity, and Jerry just shredding the faces of everyone in attendance.

They are some of the best years, in my opinion, Billy is absolutely incredible during these years! Definition of holding it down
Let It Grow
May 14, 1978
Providence Civic Center

There's no finer version, in my opinion. From the first moment I heard this one, I was hooked, they explore everything Let It Grow has to offer.

This is sick, but it's not the Devils so much as a Devil. Billy was the only drummer from January 71-October 74, so that only makes it more impressive!
Hard to Handle

Chateau d'Herouville

One of the best shows of 1971, in my opinion. Take this song as one example of several highlights and you'll see why. Great interplay, everyone is really in-tune with one another. I love the back and forth playing from Bob and Jerry, wish there was more dueling, although we know who'd always win! Right up there with 8/6/71 for all around playing
