Wharf Rat
June 10, 1973
RFK Stadium

Dark Star> He's Gone > Wharf Rat > Truckin'. RFK 73. A great sequence at, in my opinion, the show of the year

Around and Around
June 10, 1973
RFK Stadium

Right between a sweet Here Comes Sunshine and an all-time Dark Star, the boys rip a quick A&A. Nice interplay between Keith and Jer

Next Time You See Me
April 27, 1971
Fillmore East

The boys do this classic justice, both Jer and Pig have some solid playing. Not as rippin' as some of Europe 72s, but it's the April 71 run!

Me and My Uncle
March 10, 1981
Madison Square Garden

The end of a Half-Step>Frankin's Tower>MAMU triptych, not too shabby.

Little Red Rooster
March 10, 1981
Madison Square Garden

It's the Dead at the Garden, plenty for the whole family to enjoy! Some inspired playing on display

Alligator
Sept. 2, 1968
Betty Nelson's Organic Raspberry Farm

My god, gotta love that tone, Jerry was just so damn fast at this time, and mickey and Billy are absolutely soaring. Primal dead at its finest
Sing Me Back Home
June 21, 1971
Chateau d'Herouville

The video of this is awesome and the sound quality is spectacular. Jerry pours his heart into this one. Gorgeous, and I know some love Donna, but it's nice to hear this song done by the original 5.
The Other One
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

How this one is so low blows my mind. The other one is segment is like a manic roller-coaster, with everyone in perfect stride. Not a note out of place, not a single moment that seems to sputter and that's way more than can be said for every version above this. The cyrptical is as good as it gets, TC and Jerry are perfectly in sync. I imagine everyone in attendance was just gob-smacked and before they could wrap their heads around what just happened, Dark Star begins..
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Nov. 17, 1972
Century II Convention Hall

Phil is on fire throughout the transition with Jerry dancing over it, absolutely thrilling, comes down to earth for the start of rider. Phil goes nuts during "I wish I was a headlight!" and drops a nice few bombs at the end. If you've got the Dave's picks and the right set up, it's perfectly crushing
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
July 7, 1978
Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Bobby coming in with the slide for the finale. Not as outrageous as some others from 78 but a solid in the pocket groove, first at red rocks, what's to hate
