Also, worth noting that Bob says "Thank y'all, goodnight" After they close, which makes the already legendary set 4 with Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, and Merl Saunders that much better

I do feel obligated to say that although it doesn't have the lysergic tone like some of the 71 versions, Jer is ripping like nobody's business

"I wish I would've turned on before I came, wow.." glad to hear I'm not the only one! Holy shit, this SMOKES, building to a cacophonous, yet still driven, climax. The reprise is almost too good for words and its just stellar sound quality on this one. Don't get me wrong, I think Harpur College is one of the best shows they ever did play, but let's call a spade a spade, VLB was never performed again with such calculated intensity as it was this day

Out-fuckin-rageous. Jer just takes off, people must have been going nuts during this. The reprise is absolutely perfect. Best one ever, without a doubt. 50 years old now and timeless as ever!
