Jerry knocks the solo right into the French countryside. Billy has some nice fills and the quality is pristine! One of 71s best shows

Giants Stadium

Super tight post verse jam here. Surprisingly unlisted, considering it was just released as part of the Giants Stadium Box set

Cannot believe this one is not listed! Man this one rips, such a better solo and all around playing than so many versions already listed!

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Ventura County Fairgrounds

Extra mustard, indeed. Scorching leads
Let It Grow

The Spectrum

Scorched earth version. Phil laid waste to the heads in attendance while Jerry arguably never played faster. Good god damn
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
April 26, 1983
The Spectrum

Slipknot is note perfect. Jerry moves like a carbon fiber anaconda. And as noted, the Franklin's peaks several times. Hell of a show, and while nothing sounds as crisp as some of the 70s releases, the Dave's releases sounds gorgeous. Full, rich sound

Unbelievable how unappreciated this one is. Jer and Berry make some beautiful music

Unbelievably tight communication on the end of the jam, with Jer teeing em up for awesome counterpoints from Bob, Phil, and Brent. Hive mind jamming, fuck yeah. There might be others where the middle jam is ripped a little harder by Jerry, but I've yet to find one where they feature such full-bore jamming as a unit. My go-to and the rest of the show carries the same energy, one might be able to argue it even surpasses it by the time they get to the Dew.
