This is the third time they played it and it's '77 solid. This whole show deserves more attention. If you haven't listen, you should.

Slow to get going, not error free, but once they get that momentum going it's worth the mention. At least listen from 7:30 on to give it a chance.

If you can take Bobby seriously as a cowboy then this version is for you.

Good Lovin'
Dec. 31, 1976
Cow Palace

seaplant11 I totally agree. I was listening last night and heard it and made a mental note to come here and see if anyone had mentioned it. If you use the first source on relisten you will hear the Here Comes Sunshine from 2:32-3:10 in Good Lovin. Later around 4:50 you'll hear it again, but then it does start sounding a little more and more like Sampson.
Help on the Way

Cow Palace

"brokencompass" nails it with this... "Especially the Slipknot." This is an epic Slipknot and the only place to comment about it is here as a footnote to Help. Listening to the first source on relisten I hear Jerry play a little Eleanor Rigby for about 15 seconds starting at 5:20 and a little later I hear him hitting Paint it Black from 6:50-7:05. Once you "get" this one it's hard to stay away for long. Also should mention that if you check this show out, spend a minute on Good Lovin' from 2:32-3:10 you'll be transported back in time to 1973 and Here Comes Sunshine.

Bird Song

There is a soundboard now. Use the first source on relisten for this Bird Song. It's beautiful.

You are correct. This whole show got lost in the wealth of '77.
