Listened to this show for the historical significance (Keith and Donna's last show) but was especially struck by this excellent Bertha. It has a fresh groove and Jerry paints some brilliance throughout - listen close and enjoy this one! Deserves to be much higher.

Have you ever listened to a show and heard a version of a tune so good it changes the way you hear the song forever? Then head over here to see how it ranked only to be massively disappointed to see it so far down?? I can't be the only one here! This whole show is amazing but I'm convinced this is the best Tennessee Jed ever - the vocal delivery, tempo and Jerry's solos are all absolutely perfect and played with an intense bounce that I've never heard in a TJ before. Please listen to this whole show LOUD - Dicks Picks 10.

What the heck?! Why isn't this in the top 3?!?! My all time favorite encore and this is easily the best version of it in that slot.
Me and My Uncle

The band finds their way flawlessly into this one during dark star and it's just oozing with psychedelic darkness. Jerry opens up for a brief scorching solo and they continue to make this one the darked MAMU they will ever play. It feels like an entirely different song here - love it!

This is the one - sung perfectly and with pig on organ. What a set too!! The fact that they were able to nail this at the end of this monster of a set is something to behold. Play this at my funeral - what a magic moment caught on tape!!
