Blazin' hot smokeshow of syncopated bends, slides, and hammer ons that turns the intensity up to 11

Clarence Clemons sits in for the whole show and really is a great addition. They rock this Let It Rock better than anywhere else I have heard anywhere

Very strong throughout. Excellent Weir vocals. Garcia delivers.

Minus the Bobby slide practice, great version from a spectacularly great show. The China-Rider is awe inspiring.

Flawless, starts very strong from Garcia, Phil is present, Brent tinkles the piano, great Garcia vox, ensemble jam around 3:30, by 4:50 Garcia with the superfluid jam, and then sweet extended jam on to the end.

I just relistened to this one and some of the other top-ranked versions and I have to reiterate how criminally underrated this version of China>Rider is. This version is a thing of crystalline perfection from beginning to end. The sheer intensity of the multiple peaks it reaches and the masterful transition and Garcia with the "Wish I was a headlight" -- all that is as beautiful a piece of music as I know of.

This completes one of the strongest hour-straight performances you will ever hear -- just going from Scarlet all the way thru Eyes just hot as shit the whole way through. Wow. Amazing, magical shit.
