Drums -> Space
Nov. 1, 1985
Richmond Coliseum

Helluva weekend, helluva night, helluva Drums-Space. The place was fucking ELECTRIC.
China Doll
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

one tiny flaw in this gem but otherwise a very powerful China Doll
Bertha
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

The east coast is where the Dead rocked the hardest and this is an example
Keep Your Day Job
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

Seriously rockin'. I thought Day Job was always an encore but I looked it up and especially when they first introduced the song in 1982/83 they put it in a few different positions including sometimes opening the 2nd set and sometimes closing the first set, as they do here.
Bird Song
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

This is really a fantastic Bird Song. Fast and crisp and falls into a hypnotic groove.
