Estimated Prophet

Greek Theatre, U. Of California

Oh, looks like most of the village either hasn't heard this or isn't too shrewd. This is a great version. Both the first jam and the second spacey jam are excellent.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 23, 1982
Greek Theatre, U. Of California

Fantastic version with the Scarlet part particularly notable. Always loved this one and I relistened to it yesterday. Every bit as good as I remembered. The band was truly hitting on all cylinders this show, really the whole string of shows, but this is the crown jewel from the run. This version deserves to be so much higher. Ahh well.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Nov. 8, 1970
Capitol Theater

This should be a top 10. There is a new copy of the show on Archive which has improved fidelity. Actually, a fantastic AUD for the time, totally enjoyable.
Midnight Hour

Legion Stadium

Should be higher. Really well done.
Playin' In The Band
Feb. 24, 1974
Winterland Arena

Jerry just immediately LAUNCHES out there right after the first part. Really cool stuff--spacey, but very coherent and beautiful.
