Keith is fantastic throughout - gives this version the same vibe as some of Garcia/Saunders explorations during the same time period. Fun listen. #50

Sure there’s a couple lyric flubs, but Jerry delivers in a slight trippy fashion during this loping version. Love it

Proudly submit this version. That Dusborne matrix gives this superb depth of sound. Brent’s Hammond solo is lively and strong, and Jerry’s lightning.

Surprised this one hasn’t been submitted already. Raucous version with Brent getting weirdly psychedelic for his calypso-like solo

The Other One
Feb. 19, 1982
Golden Hall, Community Concourse

‘Space’ slinks its way into a fantastic jam/intro to ‘The Other One,’ which gets to a tranquil, quiet space until Phil shreds space and time with a thunderous ‘Other One’ run and the world explodes into color! There is a fiery dismantling of main theme during the intra verse jam with more explosive Phil bombs and a jangly appreciation for Bobby’s incredibly unique rhythm guitar; just exactly perfect. Slowly, this ‘Other One’ descends back into our dimension and, with a beautifully subtle key change, we arrive at the blue light, cheap hotel. #UpVote

The mix is very good with lots of Phil and great separation on the UltraMatrix. Great opener and worthy an upvote IMO.
Eyes Of The World

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena

Almost pastoral feel to this take, nice solo breaks from Jer and pretty textures and backdrop by Vince; super rhythmic with Mickey heavy on percussion. Solid ‘93 Eyes.
Desolation Row

Strong version, Jerry shines on the melodic solo.
Eyes Of The World

Cincinnati Gardens

Sure this gets lost in the shuffle of what turned out to be an amazing year for this tune, but this version deserves more praise. The entire show does, to be honest. Brilliant example of the picture perfect tempo for ‘Eyes!’
