This might be the best He's Gone I've ever heard, there is something unique about the swung feel and how all the instruments weave together in the intro and kind of loosely dance around each other throughout. I always thought early 1973 had the best He's Gone versions but this one is making me question that statement

Always thought this version was a bit weird, Jerry plays literally the same 4 notes over and over again for the first 3 minutes of the song, almost as if he forgot how his guitar works. It picks up from there though and the rest of the band are playing beautifully with especially Keith carrying the monotonous playing by Jerry really well

Normally Jerry is noodling a bit more in the background on this song, but here he sounds like he is on a mission and just attacks every solo section at full power and drives the entire band forward by doing so
