Friend of the Devil
Dec. 31, 1977
Winterland Arena

Better Jerry solo than the other '77s, but same aesthetic otherwise.

Eyes Of The World
Sept. 2, 1983
Boise Pavilion - Boise State University

Not too speedy, well jammed and ends with a one of kind improv between Bobby, Brent and the drummers.

Terrapin Station
Nov. 30, 1979
Stanley Theater

The solos in Lady with a Fan are fucking beautiful.

The Music Never Stopped
Dec. 17, 1978
Fox Theatre

Delicate, sweet playing in the midsection and a good outro. The linked source is not great, but there is a SBD.

Tennessee Jed
Nov. 13, 1978
Music Hall

Thunderous climax. The last two minutes of the song are tight.

Positively 4th Street
Oct. 31, 1975
Tower Theater

I didn't listen to the 4th street, but I did go to the link and listened to both Masterpieces and the early Tough Mama - and that compilation is really good - you can tell that the compiler listened to a bunch.
Cumberland Blues
Oct. 2, 1972
Springfield Civic Center

I had to take a listen when I read the description since it reads so well. I would have taken much less, but I found the description apt when I heard the song. It's not my era, but it's not far outside it either and I thought this was great.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 30, 1980
Milwaukee Auditorium

Pretty solid all the way around, uptempo, with the guitars clear in the mix.
Feel Like A Stranger
June 29, 1980
Pauley Pavilion

Yes, this one is of its own sort and fiery. Bobby's guitar playing is as much fun to listen to as Jerry's. I even like the tremolo synth sound (or whatever you would like to call it) that Brent used on this tune when Go To Heaven was new - and over the years I've hated those sounds at one time or another. This one is good - a nice call.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
April 23, 1977
Springfield Civic Center

The slipknot is special because of how spacey it is and Keith is playing some weirdness too. But the Help is a little sloppy and the thematic parts of slipknot too. Still, all that weirdness is worth it.
