He's Gone
Nov. 18, 1978
Uptown Theatre

Unique section after the gospel singing. Great transition to TOO

Touch of Grey
Sept. 15, 1982
Capital Centre

The debut, as an encore - raw, lyrics askew, fun times

The Music Never Stopped
Dec. 21, 1978
The Summit

A speedy rendition on a single extant AUD from what is IMO the golden age of TMNS. Good for 77-Feb79, but compares favorably to any MNS thereafter.

Cumberland Blues
Sept. 11, 1981
Greek Theater

This one cooks. It’s the third one since 74, but it’s all so fluid.

Mind Left Body Jam
Sept. 6, 1979
Madison Square Garden

The transition between NFA and Stella is about a minute of MLB. Not the best, but a unique transition and tease for 1979.

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Oct. 28, 1977
Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hall

Had to leave another comment a few years after the first one I left. I see that this one still hasn’t taken off. I don’t think that there are five versions out there that are better than this one. The track is short, I guess, but it’s so fast that I’ll bet they make it around just as many times as some longer versions from the era. I would encourage others to have a listen to this one. It’s special.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 3, 1982
The Scope

transition hall of fame
Not Fade Away
May 11, 1978
Springfield Civic Center Arena

Where is the love? I have been on a 77-78 NFA thing for 6+ months and this is one of my go-to ones for a run in that while.
Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
May 11, 1978
Springfield Civic Center Arena

All I’m looking for with this pair is Garcia’s guitar work on supplication. This is top 5 in that respect for me.
Greatest Story Ever Told
March 28, 1981
Grugahalle

I don’t usually care for this song, but I do after I saw the video of this one. I don’t actually know that many of these but I do know that what Jerry did with this one was good.
