The last halfstep of '76. After Rio Grandeo everyone including the crowd gets into it. The source is a B+ AUD.

Brown Eyed Women

Baltimore Civic Center

This one is fiery, especially the solo, in the vein of 8/24/80, including a hint of a Delilah Jones growl.

Jack A Roe
May 21, 1977
Lakeland Civic Center

And here is an epic battle. Was the song best played on the 17th, 18th or 21st of a particular month (May 1977) in a 30 year career? And yet I'm guilty of the same old thing. I like this one best - and probably because dp29 was when this song hit me for the first time. Is there a sick nonsweetspot version out there? I guess we'll see.
He's Gone
Oct. 28, 1977
Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hall

I listened on the strength of freedomhaul's recommendation. This version is pristine, and an excellent example of the 1977 aesthetic that has had some on this site so irritated as of late. This one is perfect, if you like that kind of thing.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
June 19, 1976
Capitol Theatre

This is the opener, the radio transmission with video is available on YouTube and I am so happy to have found this one.
Jack Straw
June 4, 1978
Campus Stadium - University Of California

Charged up, yet balanced version that retains the sweet episodes but still hits Jack Straw from Wichita like a locomotive.
Sugaree
July 1, 1979
Seattle Center Coliseum

The third solo break is where this second set Sugaree finally gets good.
